In brief
I am currently investigating slip distribution of moderate to large earthquakes. I focus on methodological issues that can be divided in two research projects:
1) Accounting for the uncertainty related to our poor knowledge of the causative fault geometry.
2) Solve for strictly co-seismic (30 s after earthquake) and early post-seismic (<10 days after the event) slip distributions when data are available.

I am practicing Bayesian sampling methods (Markov Chain Monte Carlo, see Minson et al. 2013) to infer earthquakes source models. I am working with geodetic datasets but want to explore kinematic modeling as well.
